FAQ

What's Norway like?
Cold and expensive. Very nice, though. I'd recommend coming.
May I bring a friend?
Sure! The venue has a max capacity of 50 and we won't be closing it off to the general public, but you're free to bring whomever you want.
Where should I stay?
Grünerløkka is a pretty chill place. There is also Thon Hotel Spectrum which is right nearby.
How do I get around?
Ruter is Norway's equivalent of TfL and have a handy app that lets you plan routes and purchase tickets for the journey. It works on zones and time, so your ticket is valid on all public transportation within the range. For example if you're travelling within Oslo centre you buy a Zone 1 ticket which is valid for an hour and then you take the metro or bus or tram to get to where you're going. 24 hour and 7-day passes are also available.
To get from the airport to the city you can use a regular train (using the Ruter app) or flytoget (the airport express train). It goes often and is real fast, but it's also a bit pricey and the regular trains are fine.
Do NOT take a cab. Your wallet will hate you.

For sure! I'll be at the venue for the entire evening, probably until an unreasonable hour, and I'm making the Sunday after available to anyone who wants a tour around the city or just grab a bite to eat.
